Domaine Ponsot Grand Cru Chapelle-Chambertin 2021 conte-dattimis-maniago Deep crimson to dark redDrawn from a small parcel (0. 47 hectares) of vines replanted in 1990, the first domaine bottling of this wine dates back to 1970. The vines are in the Gmeaux lieu dit that borders Cherbaudes and En la Chapelle, which in turn borders En Griotte. The soils here are particularly poor and rocky, typically producing wines of great minerality and longevity. This cuve now sees a longer time on skins but with a gentler extraction. Its all the better for it.
